Ingredients
- 1+ lb Stew Meat
- Salt, Pepper and water
- 2 Beef Bouillon Cubes , if needed
- Diced Potatoes
Noodles
- 2 C Flour
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp Lard or solid shortening , may substitute 1 Tbsp oil
- 1/2 C Water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Baking Soda , "good sized pinch"

Instructions
- Make Noodles while browning meat
- Brown stew meat in large dutch oven.
- Add salt, pepper and water to make a broth filling the pot to about 2/3rds full.
- Add bouillon cubes
- Add potatoes just before adding noodles
- To make noodles, make a well in the flour.
- Put remaining ingredients into well of flour and mix with a fork
- Roll out dough thin and cut into 1" strips
- Bring meat stock to a boil, add noodles.
- Boil until the potatoes and noodles are done. Noodles will be plump and tender.
