Ingredients
- 3 C Sugar
- 1/2 C Light Syrup
- 1/2 C Cold Water
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 C Chopped Nuts or Cherries

Instructions
- Cook sugar and syrup over medium heat until mixture forms a soft ball.
- Beat egg whites until stiff
- Pour 1/2 of syrup mixture into stiff egg whites gently.
- While pouring beat this while rest of syrup is boiling to hard stage
- Add gradually to other part, beating all the time.
- Add vanilla and beat until it loses its shine
- Add nuts or decorate with cherries when cooled
