White Cake
From Jeanette's Recipe Cards
Ingredients
  • 2 1/2C Flour
  • 1 3/4C Sugar
  • 3Tbsp Dry Milk
  • 3tsp Baking Powder
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 2/3C Shortening, softened
  • 1C Water
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4tsp Almond Flavoring
  • 5 Unbeaten Eggs
Instructions
  1. Sift together into a bowl - flour, sugar, dry milk, baking powder and salt
  2. Add remaining ingredients
  3. Beat for 2 minutes
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
