Ingredients
- 12 Small Boiling Onions
- 1 C Diced Celery
- 1/2 C Sliced Almonds , toasted
- 2 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 C Butter or Margarine
- 3 Tbsp Flour
- 1 C Milk
- 1/2 C Half and Half
- 1/2+ tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- Paprika

Instructions
- Cook onions and celery in boiling water 10 - 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Drain well
- Place vegetables in greased 2 qt casserole
- Sprinkle with diced almonds and Parmesan then set aside
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Add flour, stirring until smooth
- Cook 1 minute then add milk and half and half, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly
- Add salt and pepper, stir well
- Pour sauce over onion mixture
- Sprinkle with Paprika
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
