Rum Balls
These get better with age. Traditional Christmas treat.
Ingredients
  • 2C Graham Cracker Crumbs, crushed fine
  • 1C Powdered Sugar
  • 1/8tsp Salt
  • 1C Nuts, chopped fine
  • 2Tbsp Cocoa
  • 1 1/2Tbsp Honey or syrup
  • 1/4C Rum
Instructions
  1. Combine all dry ingredients
  2. Stir together honey and rum
  3. Add liquids slowly
  4. Mix with hands to tell if the consistency is right
  5. When ingredients hold together, stop adding liquid
  6. Roll in hands to 1 inch balls
  7. Roll balls in powdered or granulated sugar
  8. Set balls in tight tin for at least 12 hours to ripen
