Popcorn Cake

Ingredients
  • 2C Sugar
  • 1 1/2C Water
  • 1/2C Light Syrup
  • 1/3tsp Salt
  • 1tsp Vinegar
  • 1/4C Red Hots
  • Popcorn, popped
Instructions
  1. Pop popcorn and set aside
  2. Put sugar, water, syrup, and vinegar in a sauce pan
  3. Cook slowly until mixture holds a soft ball
  4. DO NOT STIR
  5. Fill pan with popcorn
  6. Pour mixture over popcorn
  7. Mix with wooden spoon
  8. Add Red Hots and mix
  9. Pat down into shape of pan with wooden spoon and let cool.
