Piquant Sauce
Sweet and spicy glaze for meat dishes. My mother always used this on meatloaf. I am sure it would be good on many other dishes as well. A bit of hers always made it into the gravy that she made which made her meatloaf gravy very special and different.
Ingredients
  • 1/4C Catsup
  • 3Tbsp Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/4tsp Ground Nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. spread over meat 10 - 15 minutes prior to finish time for baking.
