Ingredients: 5 C Apples; 1/2 C Butter; 2 C Sugar; 2 tsp Cinnamon; 2 tsp Vanilla; 2 Eggs; 2 C Flour; 2 tsp Soda; 2 tsp Nutmeg; 4 Tbsp Hot Water

Grandma's Apple Cake

From Jeanette's recipe cards. This is probably Grandma Lena Hince's recipe.

Ingredients

5C Apples
1/2C Butter
2C Sugar
2tsp Cinnamon
2tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
2C Flour
2tsp Soda
2tsp Nutmeg
4Tbsp Hot Water

Instructions

Peel, core and slice apples
Mix together butter, sugar and eggs
Add flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and hot water
Mix well.
Fold in apples
Bake at 360 - 375 degrees
