Feathery Fudge Cake

Ingredients
  • 2/3C Butter or Margarine
  • 1 3/4C Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/2oz Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 2 1/2C Cake Flour
  • 1 1/4tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2tsp Salt
  • 1 1/4C Ice Water
Instructions
  1. Cream together until fluffy butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. (about 5 minutes)
  2. Melt chocolate
  3. Add chocolate to sugar mixture
  4. Sift together remaining dry ingredients
  5. Add dry ingredients alternately with ice water
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes
