Indian Candy. From Jeanette's Recipe Cards
Ingredients
  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • 1C Sugar
  • 1/2C Water
  • 4C Carnation Dry Milk
  • 1C Almonds or Pistachios
  • 1/2tsp Almond Extract
Instructions
  1. Melt butter over low heat
  2. Add sugar and water
  3. Slowly add dry milk
  4. Almost immediately after finishing adding milk, add nuts and almond extract
  5. Pour onto buttered platter
  6. Cut into small pieces
