Asparagus with Lemon Butter

Fresh Asparagus

Butter or Margarine

Salt

Fresh Ground Pepper

Grated Lemon Rind
1/4
C
Fresh Lemon Juice
Lemon Rind Strips for Garnish
Instructions
Snap off tough ends of asparagus
Remove scales with peeler (if desired)
Melt butter in skillet
Add asparagus
Sauté for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender
Add salt and pepper and remove from heat
Toss with lemon rind and juice
Garnish
