Ingredients
- 1 C Margarine
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/2 C Confectioners Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Water
- 2 1/2 C Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 C Rolled Oats

Instructions
- Mix butter and sugar until creamy
- Add salt, water, vanilla, flour and oats
- Batter will be stiff
- Roll out, cut into strips or use cookie cutter to shape into candy canes
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
- Frost with thin frosting of white and then add stripes of red frosting.
