Ensalada
Great flavor and nice presentation We were first introduced to this salad in the Plano Gourmet Club and it has been a favorite since.
Ingredients
  • 1/2lb Bacon, fried crisp and drained
  • 1 sm Head Cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 1 Head Iceberg Lettuce, washed , drain and torn into small pieces
  • 1pkg Frozen Green Peas (thawed)
  • 1/2 Onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2C Mayonnaise
  • 1/2C Sour Cream
  • 2Tbsp Sugar
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
  1. Put lettuce in large clear bowl. Make sure that it is well drained
  2. Place cauliflower florets on top of lettuce.
  3. Spread peas over cauliflower
  4. Spread onion over peas
  5. Crumble bacon over onion
  6. Mix together mayonnaise and sour cream
  7. Spread mixture over salad
  8. Sprinkle sugar over mixture
  9. Sprinkle parmesan cheese generously over salad
  10. Seal with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours or over night.
  11. Toss before serving.
