Creamy Crab Dip
Ingredients
  • 6Tbsp Butter or Margarine
  • 1/4cup Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1clove Garlic, minced
  • 2Tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 2x 3ounce packages Cream Cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1-2tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4tsp Hot Sauce
  • 1/8tsp Salt
  • 2x 6ounce packages Frozen Crab Meat, thawed, drained and flaked
Instructions
  1. Place butter in a 2 quart casserole
  2. Microwave on high for 45 seconds or until butter melts
  3. Add onion, garlic and parsley - cover with plastic wrap
  4. Microware on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes or until onion is tender
  5. Add cream cheese and microwave for 1/2 to 1 minutes stirring once
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and salt. Mix well
  7. Gently stir in crabmeat
  8. Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until heated through.
  9. Dip may be made ahead and chilled
  10. Serve cold or heat in microwave 2 - 3 minutes until hot.
